An ISA (Individual Savings Account) is a savings account available to UK residents on which the return is tax-free and which need not be declared on the investor’s tax return. All income (dividends and interest) and all capital gains within the account are free of tax. For the current year, 6 April 2026 to 5 April 2027 the overall investment limit is £20,000.

A Junior ISA, or JISA, is a tax efficient savings account for children resident in the UK, taken out and managed by a parent or legal guardian on the child’s behalf; the money belongs to the child and all income and capital gains are free of UK tax and do not need to be declared on a tax return, and for the current tax year, 6 April 2026 to 5 April 2027, the annual subscription limit is £9,000 per child.

Beware of Fraudulent WhatsApp Groups

Beware of fraudulent WhatsApp groups and text messages purporting to be from members of the Fundsmith team suggesting trading ideas, requesting money transfers, job offers or asking you to click a link to download a file.

Fundsmith will never provide advice or use WhatsApp to communicate with clients. [Update - 7 November 2025: Fundsmith may use WhatsApp solely to deliver multi-factor authentication (MFA) codes. This is a one-way communication channel. We will never reply, request information, or solicit any form of engagement through WhatsApp.]

We are aware these bogus groups:

  • "Elena" regarding job offers on 18057794084
  • STOCK MARKET ENTHUSIASTS ALLIANCE 88
  • STOCK INVESTORS' CLUB 83
  • FUND CORE INVESTORS CLUB

We strongly urge people to block numbers from bogus groups and be aware of the potential for fake information or money requests, malicious attachments or links.

Please report any fake groups to us at cybersecurity@fundsmith.co.uk. We will work to have these group taken down.
